Yuba City Gurdwaras

YUBA CITY GURDWARAS
Though there are a few gurdwaras in Yuba City, the one in the picture is known most commonly for the annual nagar kirtan, and since it was the first one created in the town. Yuba City is known to have a very large Sikh population, and every year the nagar kirtan brings in over 100,000 Sikhs from across the world. Yuba City has been home to Sikhs in California for over a hundred years, and it has continued to thrive over the years.

Clovis Gurdwara

CLOVIS GURDWARA

On highway 99 and Clovis Ave. in Fresno California, this gurdwara is one of the most common meeting places for Sikhs in Fresno. A few years ago this Gurdwara sahib has started doing seva of pizza langar on Wednesday evenings and a strong number of sadh sangat has joined since then. Every year this Gurdwara Sahib has a nagar kirtan in november, when the entire Gurdwara is beautifully decorated and thousands of people from across the state and nation come to walk in the nagar kirtan. This Gurdwara does a very good job representing the Sikh community in central California.
